How we use information
- To build the reports, charts, AI visibility checks and recommendations you request.

- To process payments and send service emails about your account.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
RankCiter requests read-only access to Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly) and Google Analytics (analytics.readonly). This data is used only to show reports to you and the team members you invite. RankCiter's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not used to train general AI models, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties except the service providers listed below that process it on our behalf to provide the features you use.
Service providers
To run RankCiter we use trusted providers that process data on our behalf:
- Hosting and infrastructure (Vercel).
- AI providers that generate summaries, answers and recommendations from report data (such as Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude).
- Web search for AI visibility checks (Tavily), which receives the questions you enter but not your Google data.
- Optional keyword and performance data providers (DataForSEO, Google PageSpeed Insights), which receive keywords or page URLs.
- Payments (Lemon Squeezy).
Storage and retention
Report data is fetched from Google when you open a report. Some settings and recent results may be stored in your browser or in our database so you do not have to run them again. You can disconnect RankCiter at any time from your Google account permissions, and you can ask us to delete your account data by emailing us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to Google data is read-only and limited to signed-in users. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@rankciter.com.
